I'm so excited for 2025 and all the new year will bring. Not only will it mean Ink & Starstuff will be entering its second year in business (yay!), 2025 also marks the debut of my fantasy novel, The Underwild: River of Spirits (Aladdin books, March 25, 2025). This year Replug is celebrating their 10th anniversary, and in honor of this momentous milestone they've released a special Limited Edition Oboro Moon Calendar featuring metallic silver embossing! Of course I couldn't pass up ordering a few for the shop :)
These Limited Edition Oboro Moon Calendars are stunning in person. The silver embossing shines so brightly against the special glazed paper, which is unique to this edition. The paper itself is a soothing gray, reminiscent of a dreamy sky. A few definitions of "Oboro" おぼろ (朧) include "Haziness", Dreaminess", or "Gloom," and the combination of the silver embossing and glazed paper is certainly dreamy!
