Nishi Shuku is an illustrator and a painter based in Kyoto, Japan. Her illustrations are evocative of fairy tales, and have been featured in books, advertisements, commercials, and more. Taking inspiration from nature, she also creates block prints, oil paintings and three-dimensional works. Her work has a poetic quality and celebrates the beauty of simplicity.
